Fantastic diving centre. All the staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I did two dives here and saw I lot of very exciting fish. A dive party who were diving at the same time even saw a Whale Shark. Would recommend.

We (female, male, 24) did our PADI OWD course at unawatuna diving center. As we had engouh time, we took five days for the whole course (theory, test, pool session and four open water dives). Toby is just an awesome instructor. Very patient, calm, experienced and so good at explaining stuff. The equipment is also very good and close to the center are some perfect beginner spots to dive. Only two days after finishing our PADI OWD we retourned for our first dive as official divers. If you want to get a professional training for the PADI OWD or divining in general, this is the place to go! Highly recommandable!

The German five-star center but shame! Zero solidity, mess and chaos.
I wasted my time only arriving to them from Mirissa.
Thanks God there are other diving centers. I was diving next day
with Sea horse. Diving with them was at the highest level even though it is not the center advertised by PADI as star-shaped. As you can see, the quality does not depend on the rank of the diving center.response / report this review -

Did my AOWD here and some fun dives. Great instructor, friendly and helpful staff, well organized and good equipment. Nitrox for free :-)

I did my OWD there and I had a great time! The instructor was very attentive, explained everything thoroughly and clearly. The booking process was clear and easy. Overall, an experience I would definitely recommend :)

We did our first diving experience with this excellent team. If you have previous snorkeling experience in Sri Lanka the underwater world in the first beginner dive is not so impressive, breathing under water for the first time definitely is :-)
