This little Tea Paradise has a very nice atmosphere, lots of different teas, very good prices for a good quality and a nice man who tells you everything about Tea. A Tea tasting is also possible.

“Affordable, high quality tea and incredible (cheap) tastings!!”

Buddhika is such a beautiful man, he is incredibly knowledgeable about the tea. I went there a bunch of times in my week in Mirissa and tried about 10 types of tea. He told me all about each one, the benefits, the caffeine levels and its origin.

He introduced me to white tea and silver tea - both of which you MUST try! I ended up buying a silly amount of different types of tea from him simply because it was great quality, I could try them all before I bought them, they were incredibly cheap compared to anything else I had seen in my two months in Sri Lanka (even cheaper and better than at the tea factories). Buddhika is generous, fair and honest.

Being off season (October), the shop was only open from 3pm-10pm, but in high season it's open all day long.

To find it, go to the small strip of shops in Mirissa town and turn down the little road sort of in the middle of the shops, it's just there, pretty much on the corner.
Give it a go, you won't regret it!
