Decent price incomparison with other hotels in the area. I would stay here for the novelty of being in a cabana. Doesn't seem safe during thunderstorms which we were in. I had a few complaints which I took to hotel staff/management which I'm happy to have seen delt with. So they do remain attentive to your stay. Pleased. Thank you.

If you want to chill a couple of days, than take a cabana. If you want travell a lot the normal rooms are enough. It is a very nice little place. Service is almost perfect. Nice beach, but big waves.

A beautiful beach, very friendly, they want to make your stay most enjoyable. Food is great. Unfortunately, the rooms ( not the cabanas ) are a bit run down, especially the bathrooms that urgently needs renovation!!!!

Pictures looked really good but then they are average looking cabanas .. although the view and the ambiance of the place is really good.. i really like their set up of their restaurant which is by the beach its similar to a Goan Shack..

Lovely cabanas right on the beach. Calm and quiet with a restaurant and bar on the beach. Sunset is best enjoyed from the sun lounges or the hammocks.

This was the most expensive booking we made on our trip. It's not a bad place. But the thing is - along the Galle road from Colombo to Una, every village/town has such resorts/hotels. So I am not sure if it was worth paying $70/night + food and alcohol (pricey). What was bad - two wifi networks but you can't get any in your room, we were the only non-white people and had one waiter constantly telling us the prices of things like we couldn't afford them. Not much happening around this place. Pros - there was a nice bar tender and their bar was great. Arrack sour cocktails were nice. Food was decent in taste.

We stumbled on this place while looking for a restaurant to have lunch after visiting the Sea Turtle Sanctuary. The nearest restaurant listed by Google Maps was another few kilometers away. We took the chance and stopped by. The food and the service of the staff turned out to be great. We kind of glanced through the facilities and the cabanas and the beach side lounge seemed pretty cool. There is some coastal protection construction being done at the moment, right in front of the hotel which would spoil the beach view from the cabanas. Much of the beach is still accessible, but if you are planing to stay, might worth looking only after December 2016.
