The food was amazing (we've tried the indian food). The service is perfect, the waiters are professionals. Definitely worth to try, recommended to everyone.

We had the best food here since we arrived in Sri Lanka 11 days ago. Ginger chicken and kuruma chicken with veg and fried noodles. And good price. I can recommend this place.

Food quality good - we had daal (very good), palak paneer (different than what we're used to) and butter chicken. Everything was a touch salty for us but otherwise very tasty. The staff seems not as efficient as could be - perhaps it could be due to a slow kitchen but I think it's related more to experience. Overall it was fine as meal.

Newly opened Whitehouse restueant now knows as Foodland again reminiscing the old familiar name in Kandy. Seems to be new owners now, menu is not big, you don't have much choise, most of the menu is more of side dishes. Tried there Nasi Goreng and it was good, service was good too, prices are high, feels they are more targeted to foreigners.

The food isn't the best. Too much oil used in preparation. Cannot be said as the best in sanitary-wise. Staff is quite ok and friendly. But not the best place eat healthy and top quality food. Place has quite enough space to improve.

Visited the restaurant for lunch while in Kandy on holiday and it was excellent. The food was great and pricing was reasonable. Being located in the heart of Kandy is also a plus and was easily accessible from the city centre parking. Highly recommend a visit to this place, just remember to go upstairs as ground floor seating is a bit of a downer!

The restaurant is on the first floor. Indian menu is available. The atmosphere is good. Only limited space. There will usually be a 10 to 15minute delay. Food is fabulous.

A decent restaurant with a mix of Indian, Chinese and continental food. The interior looks a little old, and unkept. You could say they are trying to convey how the current White House with Trump looks like!

This restaurant is slightly confused, it's upstairs in a bakery, I understand this isn't unheard of but it's then not so easy to find the restaurant stairs without asking the bakery staff which means there's a large restaurant decorated well with not so many people in it. They should have some Indian music playing in the background rather than a random TV showing Bear Grills. The food was ok, took a while, we understood the tandoori chicken and naan would be a while but the spring roll and All butter mushroom starter should have been quicker.
The tandoori chicken unfortunately was dry and we asked for yogurt for which they charged us for. Wouldn't recommend.

Good short eats. Lovely pot of tea! Ran in during a thunderstorm and had a good team break. Toilets are of a good standard too

White House Restaurant, located in the heart of the Kandy city.
Delicious food if you're looking for a place to have a snack or bite to go. Another slightly unknown factor being, that they have a lovely dine in restaurant upstairs with a variety of meals to choose from their menu.

Attractive interiors. But food and service poor. Don't waste time and money here.

The restaurant upstairs offers a nice variety of local and other Asian food. The food is good but the atmosphere can not keep up. Service seemed distracted.
