Earlier it was good place to eat but after expansion food quality has reduced and not delicious but still you can find cheap buffet here! Also you will find less varieties of main menu and rice and curry's are not really hood choice to have here. I'm not recommend this place of you are looking for testy foods!

One of the food outlet in Anuradhapura. Very popular among locals as well as tourists. They have built a new spacious cafeteria to cater large crowd so you’ll have a relaxing pleasant experience at this place.

However most of the time we’ve seen only two person deployed to cater the crowd but that’s not enough for a spacious place like this.

The food was so so, a bit too salty for my liking. Beware of the price as there's no price tags, always ask before having anything there. I forgot to ask about the price of the drink. That's where they ripped me off. Their dishonesty is making a black mark on my impression of mice Sri Lankan people. My meal was Rs350, but I was charged Rs250 for a glass of so called 100% natural and fresh orange juice which tastes just like those orange flavour soft drinks. While I was still eating, a couple of Western girls came in to buy takeaways. They were asked to pay more Rs 50-100 than the day before, for the same food they had there! They raised the question and then got the same price. I am really taken by most Sir Lankan people this trip so far, just dislike those money grabbing restaurants. Foreigners get charged twice or more for the same things than the locals!

We had a nice meal together with our Tuktukdriver and some backpackers who just joined us. The portions are big and they serve at your table, do takeaway and offer a buffet style dinner. Definitely good value for money and since it's in the lonely planet as well they have a reputation to maintain. Not very special, but good enough to let you enjoy a true Sri Lankan dinner.

Overcharge for tourists. You will notice there are no menu with prices. This is strategically in place so that the owner can rip off tourists. Locals pay 140 - 160 rupees for a meal while tourists pay 350-400 rupees for a meal. A tiny glass of orange juice is 200 rupees. RIPE OFF.
