  Unarguably the best restaurant of the area. Located near The serene Minneriya lake.Buffet was fabulous Local dishes as well as western cuisine. la carte menu was also available. Staff was friendly and professional while our past visit it was a full house busy afternoon but they managed to serve our requests quite fast. The only let down was the desserts maybe they ran out of ideas at the end. Pricing was reasonable as 700/= per head was worth it. Recommended and hoping to visit again soon.

  Nice little place to relax and have your lunch. Its located at Minneriya - polonnaruwa road and have a good parking space. Lot of tourist visit the place. They provide a srilankan buffet for a price of approximately 800 per a head. Buffet is good with soup and desserts. There is a nice view at the back. Bathrooms are very clean and the place is very tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

  On the way to polonnaruwa you can stop here for lunch, there has buffet, delicious food is sri lankan and western,nice desert and beverages,good staff and clean place

  The foods are absolutely great and the service needs bit more professional and fast. They pay high attention for the foreigners and hesitating to expedite anything for Local even they're one of us.
  
  The price are very expensive like 900 per head even it's not have such big menu's. Good for foreigners.

  You don't find a lot of places like this close to dambulla and we were lucky enough to stumble upon this. Food was pretty decent and the restroom facilities were great as well. We were fortunate enough to watch a wild elephant freely roaming close to the water while enjoying the food.

  Delicious food, nice ambiance
  
  Located right at the edge of Minneriya lake, this restaurant serves delicious food in a standard buffet.
  Happened to be there for lunch on the way back from Polonnaruwa without really knowing what it would be.
  They had Sri Lankan rice and curry + some Chinese items on the buffet at a reasonable rate.

  The Vadiya is situated in a beautiful location just next to the Minneriya Weva(large tank) with a very nice view of the Minneriya weva. If you are lucky you may see wild elephants while you have meals here.
  
  They serve only lunch as a buffet and you can have Western and Sri Lanka lunch. The number of varieties in the buffet is good and the price is little bit high. I would pay that amount for the meals and the location.
  
  The restaurant is clean and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The restrooms are clean.

  Clean place. The view is good and pretty relaxing but the road behind will still remind you regularly where you are.
  Food is OK. 900/pax, maybe because we came with our driver.

  Wonderful atmosphere by the lake side. Calm and peaceful environment with beautiful views. But food doesn't not taste good.
  Buffet includes starter soup, salad
  Main course - both western and eastern
  Dessert - curd, fruits
  And coffee
  
  All just for 700/=

  Best place along the Minneriya road for you to have a buffet meal.
  Enjoy the beautiful scenery around Minneriya tank while you taste delicious food.
  Excellent service from the staff, very attentive. Well maintained washrooms.
