We ate here numerous times over the last few weeks and every single time the food was awesome. These guys cook up amazing flavors and offer great service. Definitely recommend sharing platter, wadde wrap, veg burger, smokey burger, hangover burger and of course the pickled veg, potato wedges, and aioli on the side were so damn tasty. Worth every dollar!!! Also has comfy spots outside to watch the surf while enjoying the fooddon’t think it gets any better😀

What a fab place. Great menu, great staff and great vibe. Wijaya Beach should take a lesson from The Shack. My new go to place. Love it.

Really good food, friendly staff, nice view. Music is a bit loud though with little kids maybe not the perfect place. (I would recommend trying one of their super smoothies as they call them)

Loved The Shackawesome spot right on the beach, surfers right out frontfood was ace , i had the smoked fish, smoked in their own smokehousestaff were great tootop day! :)

Possibly have had the best meal whilst in Sri Lanka here. Really chilled place, good views of the beach and proper freshly cooked food. Visited one evening at 7pm to find it closed, so may want to ring ahead.

This place has everything going for it from the great food to the great views and service. We loved our breakfast and coffee by the water and loved the feel of the place even more.
Definitely recommend this place or even driving down to this place just for the experience.

Lovely breakfast and coffee!! We were on our way from Galle to Mirissa, and we stopped along the way to Shack Beach. It's a bit hard but look for the SB sign!
I ordered the scrambled eggs on toast with additional sausages, and coffee. Both excellent! My husband's pretty happy with his hoppers too.
It takes quite awhile to serve 8 people, especially when my mother in law ordered fruits and she was served last!
There are surfing lessons on the beach and it seems like foreigners stay in the area.response / report this review -
