One of peaceful place in sri lanka. As i heard the have more than 60 rooms but visitors able to visit 2 rooms only. What a shame

It holds a large number of endemic species of plants and animals, and a variety of plants of known benefit to man. Forest Reserve is the last viable remnant of Sri Lanka’s tropical lowland rain forest; over 60% of the trees are endemic and many of these are rare; and there are 21 endemic bird species, and a number of rare insects, reptiles and amphibians (IUCN Technical Evaluation).

Interesting place. Nice place for photography well maintained landscaping. Beautiful views of the surrounding. Only disappointing thing is that they won't allow to see certain parts of the property.

Good visiting place for all. Historical high class residence that is well maintained for site seeing. Also have a little store that sell jams and other products produced using their ow fruits.

Well maintained monument of history. Fruit and flower gardens. Adhism's quality jams and cordials shop. You can get glimpse of past life here by seeing the furniture, book racks, room setup and other amenities. You can also watch a documentary to learn more.

Marvellous place. An ancient monastery. Showing only on Saturdays and Sundays as well as PH holidays. Only some parts. Having a wonderful garden with full of beautiful flowers

A preserved monastery with gardens and interior. Nothing much to see there apart from some flowers and antiques. Saw an interesting book collection.
