  It's called Tenavaram temple. But it is hindu temple named as THONDESWARAM.
  Ansian time there are five God Sivan temple in Srilanka, called as
  1.Nakulesvaram
  2.ThiruKetheeshvaram
  3.Thirukoonesvaram
  4.Munnesvaram
  5.Thondesvaram.
  Nowadays Sinhala people change so many things in Srilanka. It's also changed as Tenavaram temple.

  This is a religious place to both Buddhists and Hindus. This is old about 13 century. There is a Buddhist temple and several Hindu temples are maintained by the the temple. Uthpalawanna/ vishnu is the main God and there are places to worship other God's and goddess like Skanda, Lakshmi, Paththini, Ganesha. This is a ancient temple so you can still see stone ruins. In August month of every year there is a big festival with a carnival. There'll be seven Perahera in first seven days night and biggest Perahera is on seventh day. Carnival will be held on other seven days and the festival is ended in 14th night after helding a Thowil and giving an arms giving
