The Karapitiya teaching hospital is the largest hospital in the Southern Province. Many skilled doctors serve. The hospital also provides a large number of employees with a large staff. The Emergency Treatment Unit built on a few years ago is very useful. The hospital has special treatment units for every illness. A large number of patients receive residential treatment.

3 times we went me and my wife, the treatment for dengue fever was perfect. (hemas hospital diagnostic a simple virus). Service good, doctors high level. So pity not any private room available, infact almost all free but enviroment is poor

All the health sector services could be obtained.
But .
Though you are a patient you should have a patience to get treatment.

It is a leading government hospital in Galle district also it is the largest teaching hospital in the southern province.But you can't get comfortable treatment from here because it is a free of charge hospital.So don't hope about more facilities Thanks to free healthlot of attendant,nurses,doctors are very very vey unkind to patientsBut little of them are good.
