Great local company. Got to drive a Mercedes-Benz C class for the same price other companies had compact cars for. It wasn't brave new and had some wear and tear, but it was still a great car to drive. The only issue was that the windshield wipers had clearly not been checked/replaced for a long time and weren't really functional. Hopefully they have added that to their checklist after my conversation with them. I'd be happy to rent from them again.

I have rented from most car hire companies and can say,without doubt, this is the worst. They would rather rip people off than provide a car.
I’ve hired Premio 2015 car for 16 days including airport pickup and drop.
My return flight was in night. After handing over the car to dealer he walked around the car & nothing found to claim as damage or scratch and then pointed out small dent in hood! He touched that particular place and said feel dent over there. I’m surprised because I didn’t see anything and pretty sure nothing happened during the rental period. Moreover it was suspicious for me because he found that specific area in dark time using lamp light and which can’t see even in naked eyes..!
After some arguments, I understood that it was trump for claim some additional profit..! Finally it's end up with deducting some money from my refundable deposit.
I will never rent from them again.

I had searched the top 10 car rental agencies, comparing their services and prices for a weeklong stay in Colombo. I believe Transit Rent-A-Car is the best overall car rental company because it offers the widest selection of vehicles for a good price and customer service.

"Great.. great.. prices!!!!!!! You will not find better prices in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I love that the company and actually looked after by people who care. You will be treated like a person and not like a contract. The owners and employees are some of the most honest people I have ever met. Undoubtedly, the prices are the best in Colombo, Sri Lanka, especially if you are looking for a variety of different cars that aren't just "standard" rental cars. Stay away from the big names that charge you fees for everything. You will not regret using this company for your every car need."
