Olly is one of our pet, she is adorable cat around one year of age.
Recently we noticed that olly had an enlarged belly, we were under the impression that it may have been caused due to the injection given recently.
We took our loving olly girl to Suwana pet care animal hospital at kalutara.
We were asked to come at 04.30 pm. They took an x-ray or a scan and even they didn't show it to us or give it to us. At around 7.30 pm olly was taken to theater and they came with 3 pre matured baby kittens who were not suitable for the world except for their mom's belly. They have told that they gave a injection to olly to get milk.
At first olly even didn't look at their baby kittens and after about a day we somehow made her realized that these kittens were in her belly.
As the hospital told olly didn't get milk and we were given 1 ml syringes to feed these baby kitten.
Time passed with great suffering when we saw on the Third day orange and white kitten was dead. By 5th day the gray with strips kitten was dead. And on 10th day the last one black and brown kitten was dead.
So I think even a normal person can understand an x-ray or a scan if there are baby kittens are inside. But they haven't even informed and they waited till last moment and did this.
Even they did not updated Olly's book regarding her medication as well.
I will never ever recommend this place to anyone and please take care of ur pets. Do not ever take them to this money focussed place that has no heart for animals.
We are living in a situation which we don't know that we will breath tomorrow. But these are the things done by well educated money focussed so called professionals. I like who ever the person did this will see this post. And keep in mind karma will follow no matter what..
And also I need to ask,
If u knew there were kittens inside, why did u oparate??? Coz you need money or what??? Why didn't you allow them for a natural birth?
What I felt was if they were born in natural way, olly will get milk and kittens get their mom's milk. Then baby kittens will get the nutritions and everything which includes in mom's milk
Why did u do this????

Do NOT visit this place if you want your pet to be alive! This doctor is famous for killing pets. Many people are aware of it. The doctor is very rude to animals and visitors. My dog became more weak after visiting this place for around 6 months. The doctor could not find the infection and he doesn't even care to find. He wants us to bring our pets to him for months so that he can earn a lot. He just gave three to four injections everyday. Finally we visited Colombo "Rover Veterinary Hospital" where my dog had an operation, but still my dog doesn't show 100% recovery due to the previous doctor, Shobath. You'll find the medicine twice as expensive by this doctor without even curing your pet. Please for god sake do not visit this doctor, Shobath. Share this as much as possible. Don't let him kill any other pets, do not bring yours to him🙏🙏🙏

Our dog 🐕 was not well and we took it to the clinic. The service provided by the vet surgeon and his staff is professional and they do care about the pets.

This clinic is equipped with latest high tech equipment such as digital x-rays, ECGs, ultrasound scanners etc.

They have their own taxi service to bring your pet to the clinic.

They offer other services like pet training, hostel for pets.

They carryout all type of vaccination and surgeries.

There is a parking lot in front of the clinic, but a large parking area is available about 100m away from the clinic.

This clinic is highly recommend for your pet.

I do not recommend this place. The charges are very expensive. The staff is good but the doctor is very rude and scolding other veterinary doctors. This place is a waste of time and waste of money. And it's a pet killing zone. And finally he thinks he is the only one who know about pets

I do not recommend this veterinarian. The facilities are not bad, but the veterinarian himself is extremely rude towards his customers. Although they have a small reception room with a desk, it is rarely staffed, so be ready to push and shove your way to the front of the crowd so your pet can get veterinary attention. There is often a wait time of over 90 minutes.

Be forewarned, he will hit your dog if he is not satisfied with its behavior. Also, his basic knowledge about dogs seems to be inaccurate, as he had trouble identifying the signs of undernourishment. He shows no affection or concern for animals in general. It is probably best to take your pet elsewhere.

Treatments are good for the animals but I have to say small issue of them.They are showing here their working hours starts @ 8.30A.M but they are not open it proper time and if any emergency case Suwana Staff arn't come bit earlier to treat the animals.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAT/ DOG HERE IF THEY ARE HAVING A MAJOR SERIOUS VIRAL OR A DISEASE. for a check up or a surgery or giving vaccines or for something like that , this place is fine. But if your pet has a deadly disease, I do not recommend this place . (The lady vets in the kalutara gov vet hospital are so much better. They just don't have enough facilities)
the vet was really rude and was very disrespectful. (Seemed nice to SOME ppl. But not for all) Some of the "trained" staff were rude and never had a smile in their faces. We get it. You're a vet. But we don't pay you to be disrespectful and rude to us 🙄.

So, this is my experience in suwana

On the third week of June , my cat (11 y/o ) who was recovering from a parasitic infection, suddenly got a breathing difficulty. So we took her to the gov. Vet hospital that we usually take her to and they said that she might be having a respiratory tract disease and to take the cat to THIS PLACE bc the gov hospital didn't have enough facilities to treat her breathing disability. So we took her to suwana and they kept telling that her breathing difficulties was bc of the parasitic infection. But I still don't believe that bc my cat was already almost reacoverd. She didn't have yellow skin or any other symptom left. and when my mom told the lady vet in suwana to check my cats chest, the lady vet said that her lungs are healthy and this was not a respiratory tract disease (which it clearly was ) then LATER AT NIGHT, the male vet said that one of her lungs was filled with liquid. ARE YOU SERIOUS. .And even then, they kept ignoring it and kept giving her oxygen. Also, They got money from us for THREE tests but only gave us the results of ONE report and we can't prove any of these bc they don't give anyone a payment receipt (a bill)
BUT WHAT WAS DIGUSTING WAS HOW THEY HANDLED MY CAT. the staff AND the doctor DID NOT have any type of kind heart or love towards my cat and really hurt her when handling . They were really careless and one time when giving oxygen, water came through the oxygen tube which could've killed my cat then and there. Yes my cat died later that night but she died peacefully in her home with the people she loved.
DEAR VET, IF YOU THINK AN ANIMAL COULDNT BE SAVED THEN REMOVE YOUR PRIDE AND TELL US THERES NOTHING YOU CAN DO. ITS BETTER THAN HURTING THE CAT AND KEEPING IT ALIVE BY GIVING OXYGEN .

THIS CAN BE CALLED AN ANIMAL HOSPITAL, BUT THIS CAN NEVER BE CALLED A PET CARE BC NON OF THE STAFF ACTUALLY CARED FOR MY PET
THIS PLACE DOSNT EVEN DESERVE ONE START BUT I CANT WRITE A REVIEW WITHOUT GIVING ONE . DEFINITELY NEVER GOING BACK.
