  Hello fellow travellers! Don’t listen to Lonely Planet and stay at your guesthouse for dinner while visiting Polonnaruwa! This small, clean and friendly restaurant has an amazing rice and curry combo that is cheap and delicious. May be one of our best Sri Lankan meals so far. Don’t miss it! -Canada-

  Place is Good. but food has very large level of MSG or Such Flavors. if there are many curries , all have one common taste of that flavor. Strongly not recommended to take children's due to above reasons..

  Fast moving, basic dine in restaurant with tasty food. The service is good and price is reasonable for locals. However there is no menu available or a bill available for locals. But, there is a pricey menu available for foreigners, which is really really a shame. The same food sold at a higher price just because you got a white skin :( Absolutely disgusting policy to treat foreigners. The price of the food needs to be same for locals and for foreigners. I urge whoever owns / manage this restaurant to pay a visit at a restaurant in a different country to find out whether we need to pay more just because we got a darker skin. I am a native Sri Lankan but this is absolutely shame on you! On the other hand, this place is been recommended by most of Hotels around Polonnaruwa and foreigners left out with no options other than visiting Sunrise & Akila. The only reason to visit here is because this is a fast moving restaurant and their food is tasty. No menu, bills for locals & higher price for foreigners. Choice is yours :) Thank you.

  Good place to have lunch with buffet option. Buffet price is really low. Service is ok and friendly. Options other than buffet is bit slow and bit expensive. One of the best places to have lunch in Polonnaruwa.
