What an amazing place to disconnect from everything! The little cabins are so lovely and offer a 5 star Robinson Crusoe experience with delicious meals from Susantha's mom! Their little cat Vegas will keep you entertained during the meals or come by to greet you while you are relaxing on the hammock 😃

LOVED my stay here. Absolute heaven. Susantha and his entire family make you feel so welcome and the food is to die for! I do not kite surf but had a wonderful time just watching them. It is an extremely relaxed environment and I left feeling fully refreshed!

The Perfect place for Kitesurfers visiting Kalpitiya.

Amazing place for holidays and kite surf
I had the most amazing time in this place. The hosts are warm and welcoming and you feel like part of the family for the stay. They helped me with all my requests and i took
Kite lessons, participated in ab island and djungle national park tour.
The place is very quiet and within a little, lovely djungle garden. Everything is decorated with love towards detail.
The food is prepared by the mom and the currys as well as the breakfast are simply
Delicious and generous.
The bungalows are all handmade from palmleaves, clean and spacious.
I can warmly recommend this place and hope to come back there as i have made friends for live.
The fact that i stayed 10 days instead of 2 days just says it all :)response / report this review -

Simply the best place to stay in Sri Lanka. The hospitality was so warm and welcoming. A really great place to escape reality and enjoy the simple things in life, like awesome local food, beers, great company and the beautiful landscape. There's kite surfing lessons if you're that way inclined, I chose to hang out in a hammock most of the time! Thanks for a great stay Susantha- I can't wait to return!

I visited Sun Wind Beach to just get away from the 'world'. I was so amazed how beautiful it was. I booked for three nights, but extended the stay for a week. A friend I was staying with decided to do the kite surfing, but I chose to just relax and enjoy the surrounds. My cabana was very comfortable, as I listened to the sounds of stillness at night. I would chill out in the gardens, reading a book, and just enjoying my time. I did walks around the property, and adored the freshest food - the best in seafood and fruit. I would like to thank Susantha and family for a great stay. They are very friendly and always greet you during the day. They know so much about the area, as I was fascinated with its history and culture. I am returning as soon as I can. Thanks again.

Awesome chilled guesthouse right near the edge of the lagoon. The place is run by a really friendly local family. The owner Susantha is a local kite surfer and knows all the best places to kite. He organises kite trips to Vella Island, Mannar Island etc. The site is really beautiful, rustic cabanas set amongst a tropical garden with chill out and on site resteraunt. His mum is the best cook! The freshest seafood everyday. Will definately come back!
