It is a buddhist temple situated on top of a small mountain in the limits of the busiest town of southern province, galle. It has a large area covering many monuments. It is place which a nature lover must visit. The place has two main access paths. One is a tarred road which u can reach the top by a vehicle. The other one is a stairway through the cool natural environment, which gives an experience of a wet forest. Anyone interested may feel free to contact the monks of the temple to have a chat and to hear about the past and existance of this beautiful temple. Monks are capable of helping english speaking visitors.

Beautiful buddhist temple complex on the top of the green hill among busy city. There were NO people inside but peaceful atmosphere. Nice place to visit and meditate. No English signs and information
