Avoid this place if you're a solo female traveler.

Was sexually assaulted by the kite surfing instructor the day I was there. He took me to the deserted beach on the other side of the lagoon on the company motorboat. Did everything I could to get away. Never been more grateful in my life to not wear a bikini while traveling. He did not understand the meaning of the word "no" even though he spoke perfectly good English.

When we got back, I immediately reported him. But it became a he said/she said situation. The manager on duty said that he trusted the instructor 200% and that I was lying.

I am reporting this and the hopes that no other woman has to deal with what I encountered there. Please take your business elsewhere.

I have always been against the all inclusive experiences but this place definitely made me change my mind. Dont expect 5* rooms or facilities, you will get all you need to enjoy your stay in Sri Lanka though.
Great spot, good food, friendly staff and just a really cool atmosphere. Will come back here!

The location is very good, you have direct access to the beach of the lagoon..the facilities are cute and simple but heavily overpriced..many things ( cocktails, water, excursions..) are overpriced and knowing how little other places in the country charge for the same. The local staff is very friendly but the kitesurfing team is far from helpful..you should also know that the bar is playing music every day..
