this is the temple of goddess bhadrakali. in Srilanka this is pronounced as pathrakali. This is nearly 2 km away for the famous shankari devi temple. This is situated in east Provence of trinkomalee. Trincomalee central bus station is just 5 minutes walking distance form the temple. trincomalee railway station is just 1.7 km away from the temple. there are some more visiting attraction nearby to the temple. Gokanna raja maha viharaya ( buddist temple) sangamitra viharaya are some of them.

As a tourist, it was a very interesting experience to visit this temple. We were welcomed to go inside and marvel at all the colourful sculptures and decorations. Also interesting to witness the ritual of coconut smashing in front of the temple.

    Woooooooooooow.
It's so strange that guides are not talking so much about Trincomalee temples.
And this one is one of the best.
The works to re-paint the structure are finished 6 month ago (it's 5 July 2017 while I'm writing).
It's simply something you have to see if you are around here.
Trincomalee is much more than uppuveli and nilaveli beach.

One of the famous Kali Temple in Sri Lanka. Devotees never short in attending the poojas and ceremonial functions. An easy access to all towners means that very popular for them than Koneswaram Temple.
