Nice place with good atmosphere and tasty coffee. ☕ Make sure that you ask for strong coffee since the default is pretty weak. Also, expect to pay premium prices.

Do not come here if you are hungry. Service was extremely slow as only one cook was cooking. After waiting for 35 minutes for my simple order (hummus guacamole pita) and realizing people who came before me only started getting their food I gave up and left. Took me some time to leave too as they couldn't find change. It's ok for a drink with friends though I guess.

Absolutly avoid. I waited for an hour plus to get my food, just to learn that they had forgotten about the order. I payed for my drinks and left (suprisingly it was not offered to be covered by the house). It was a bit busy but there is 5-6 people working for no more than 20 guests. Mistakes happen, and I would not write this bad review had it not been for what I assume is an owner or manager, who as I was leaving said "Well, I hope next time you will get your food in time"!?. As if it is some kind of roll of dice or divine intervention invovled in it, and not complete incopetence and rudnes. The place mostly caters for tourists from a single country (not supprisingly the same as the staff) and others are treated differently. It is one thing to have a layback surf life-style running a cafe looking onto the waves if you want to feed your instagram and act cool. And it is completly different to run a business treating customers with minimum professional curtosey wherever they are comming from and be cool. Unfortunatelly, in this cafe it is not the latter case.

This place was ok, it's run by some young Russians(?) who possibly need some experience in customer service before opening a restaurant; a smile is a lot more welcoming than a death stare, just saying.
It's not overly vege/vegan friendly, I don't think it's a concept they seemed very familiar with, but they were reasonably accommodating none the less.
The food was okthe vege pita - the only vegetarian item - was really a panini with a few sparse pieces of pepper, onion and tomato. I asked for no yoghurt sauce so they gave me extra yoghurt sauce, just in case. It's not that it wasn't tasty, it was just not what I was hoping for. The salad was pretty unimaginative and was drowning in vinaigrette, but the espresso coffee was hot and they had coconut milk as an alternative to dairy milk, which is hard to find in this area. We also tried a couple of the smoothies and they were good, even when I requested the yoghurt to be changed for coconut milk, which they did no problem.
Would I eat here again? Probably not, based on that meal, but they seemed to have a good selection of seafood dishes, if that's what you're in to, and they're a start up so I would say they're still getting into the swing of things. Give them a shot if you're over the Sri Lankan food.
