Great Entertainment. I went on a weekend for the 10PM show. It was mostly empty & peaceful. We had most of the hall just to ourselves. The food/drinks is a bit expensive.Cinema experience is great. Seats are comfortable.
Washrooms and toilets available.
Lovely place..
Highly recommend..

Well maintained cinema with comfortable chairs. And you do have four choices during different times. The tickets and snack prices are also reasonable. The 3D glasses are not the best but doesn't hurt the viewing experience that much.

Only place around Malabe to watch 3D movies. Not very crowded. Ticket Costs Rs.500. Same price for the kids as well. Pop corn is available at the ticket counter. Cinema is at the top floor. Lower floors of the building is empty at the moment.

Well maintained property. Having all new movies mainly 3D. Parking is not enough at all and hence better come little early and find a parking place along the Athurugiriya road.

Just go to this place if you want to see 3D movies for cheap price.you can park your car in front of the hall.there is an elevator you can also use.its a simple palace and you have to adjust a little bit but its worthy for your money

Nice comfy place to an average movie goer such as myself. The place is not that big so not many interruptions occur during showtime. Prices are quite ok. The screen is not too far away so it is hard to miss tings. But being small comes with less seats. If you're watching a marvel movie on premiere day, you better book your seat a day or two early.

Need to improve in Letting the people know about the cinema hall . It gas good seating capacity . need to make some advertising on the cinema hall to catch the audience.

One of the essential parts of a developed city.. 3D cinemas are also available. Screen and Sound quality is good. There's a vehicle park in front as well as in the rear of the building. The only problem is that online booking isn't allowed and there are situations where shows will get canceled unless there's a crowd of at least 5 individuals. That's the bad news on it.

Best around the city.offer 3D experience too. Better option if you live in suburbs. Tickets price is very reasonable less than 500. Screen quality is ok. Sounds should be improved at least tuned accordingly. Limited number of seats available like 40. Most of seats are in good point of view.seats are ok comfortable enough. All the new movies usually hit this place. Not usually crowded. But can get packed after movie starts.

Best place to watch movies bit away from Colombo. Tickets aren't expensive. Parking available. Not recommend when it's raining because it's the top floor and rain makes noice. Air conditioning is bit high and it's freezing inside.

Cinema is good but still seat reservation and ticketing cannot be done online. We have to visit the office for seat allocation and collect tickets only within half an hour time frame before the movie .

Very rude and senseless staff. When we got there and asked for the tickets which were booked over the phone, the respoce was a cold "wait, we haven't started tickets issuing yet". After couple of seconds, the idiot called some people on the other corner for tickets. Seems they had an auspicious time for tickets issuing and issue tickets before 10 seconds might be a crime.

Booking experience was also so rude and uninviting.

Further, having two kids on hand and looking at their bag, the idiot cashier was shouting "if u have food, have it hear". 'Cmon @skylightscinema, behave your self before teach others. We know how to behave in a cinema. Your popcorn is made of plastic???? (By the way, we did not had food since we watch films not to the stomach).

Thought to answer on the spot, but later thought better to raise the voice in a louder audience.

Even though we were regular customers, we will consider Gampaha regal cinema and Kiribathgoda aruna cinema next time. Bye bye @skylightscinema..

Malabe skylight is where we often go to watch movies, one thing i wouldn’t recommend is that to never call and book your seats, because they tend to give you the most corner seats, even when told to keep seats on the middle. Apart from all that, good place. Extremely disappointed.

Place is good. LKR 450 for movie from my last visit. Very comfortable seating and sound system needs a little bit of an improve to avoid the small scale of weirdness. Other than that place is perfect for a nice 3D experience. Spoiler alert - careful with the guys in cafeteria they will ask you more than what you should payed.

Really good place. Tickets are 450/-. Screen size is small like at Excel or L Lite. Around 60-70 seats in total. The seat itself is pretty basic.. not that comfortable. But the adjacent rows are raised well enough your view isn't hindered by the person in front of you at all. Both, Video and Audio were good.

Great audio, video quality.
Average comfortable seats.
Show could be canceled if number of guests are lower than 10 ( sometimes it happens ).
Snack prices are reasonable.
No online booking facility, but you can call and reserve your seats. Basement parking is available, but DO NOT use it your car has low ground clearance.

Theater is good quality. But usually crowed is bit disturbing type. They have pamphlets parking available behind the building (underground). Good thing is they get all the good new releases.

Good place to watch movie. No need to wait in traffic jams. Staff is very friendly . Even you can reserve your seat via mobile. Pay cash when you arrive. That much easy. Even food and beverages are avilable. Wash rooms are not that much cleaned.

It is a good Movie Theatre. They should improve the quality of sound, Tidiness, and their service. Anyway worth for the price you pay. I think they should consider about online ticket booking. If it was there it might save our time and it will be very convenient. Overall a good place where your money spend and you will never regret.

New theater. Sound quality is not as good as Majestic City or Savoy cinemas. Also there's no balcony. But still an OK place to watch 3D movies for the people who are further from Bambalapitiya. You can call and book seats.

Did not have major issues other than unreliable screening times. You can't get movie updates or place a booking over the phone. Screen is small but the picture quality is decent. Usually not crowded. Experience is good given the small size of the theatre.

A small theatre but a good one. Usually, this place is less crowded. The viewer experience and sounds are pretty good and the seats are somewhat comfortable.

This movie theater is a new addition to Malabe . Located on the top floor of Metro Central building, it is quite easily accessible. Parking is not that easy unless you come on time and find a spot from one who's leaving from the earlier show.
The cinema experience is quite good with nice 3D effect and pretty good surround sounds. The seats however are not recliners but comfortable enough so once your immersed in the movie you forget it :) Quite a few number of seats available in the theater but should be able to find a descent spot if you could make it on time.
There are snacks but not much choice.
All-in-all a good place to enjoy a movie without having to dive into the traffic jam in Colombo.

It's just a small cinema in the middle of the town. It has to run with low amounts cinema lovers to watch movies in it. So it's small. 3D images are darker due to the projection technology. (it's high tech though) 2D images are fine. Sound is mediocre. Bear with those and you'll satisfy with the facility within the reach of your arms.

Probably one of the worst cinemas I v ever been. It took 15 minutes to issue tickets since there was an internal issue. Went to the toilet and the door was broken. So, i had to hold the door while i was doing my work. Video somehow ok but audio was horrible. Totally disappointed. Never recommend this place to a friend.

Love the place since it's in Malabe. Can book by phone. quality sounds and video. AC Hall. And good seating. Don't have to go to Bamba or colpetty to get a good theatre experience anymore. Latest movies are shown and has a 9.30pm Showtime as well.
