The place was good but we booked in advance for the second day to visit meemura and once we at silent bungalow on the first day we were informed that we can't go to meemura as a bridge was broken and then we said we will cancel the second day after that they said they will take us. The cost was 7,500 per vehicle which they said upfront and we agreed for that and then the day we were to go to meemura they gave us vehicles without seat and a lorry this was the worst possible way to go on this journey as it's a rough ride. We had 16people this they new upfront. All the other people of other places had good vehicles with comfortable seats. Also once we left the bungalow towards meemura one of there vehicles took our other group somewhere else and we had to stay 2hours for them to return and once again we started our journey the drivers showed us a place and said it was meemura but it wasn't and we said that it wasn't and asked a person he said we have to go more further. Finally we got to it around 4 it took over 4hours we didn't even get to visit the village cz it was too late. Meemura was beautiful the water was so refreshing. Had fun for about one hour and left back to the bungalow cz it was dark it only took close to 2 hours only.
The food was very good the rooms at the place is good but this wasn't the best experience cz these guys wasted our time so it wasn't a wonderful stay. Later we found that there vehicles which took people was in repair so if this was the case they should have hired vehicles cz there are enough vehicles over there. Good vehicles like the once which are available when you go to yala.
So if your thinking of traveling to this place rethink you wouldn't get a good service and they would lie.
The plus points was the food was good and it has a beautiful surrounding.
The got a air rifle and you get 5shots free but you need to ask them if not you won't get that.response / report this review -

Almost inside the Knuckles forest. Good service by the care taker. Good place to have a BBQ (near the natural pool). Road from Ferndale is only by 4WD vehicles. They provide transport if you need.

Nice place for groups.excellent servicenice food.. the access road is very hard..they provide transport from Thangappuwa

Excellent service. Friendly staff and nice places to explore beautiful nature. Natural swimming PL is the icon of this hotel.
Rooms / Bathrooms nice and clean. All foods are fresh ( harvest form near place ) and delicious .
Nice place visit.
