excellent base to explore the Polonaruwa archeological park: bicycle hire is reasonable, and the park is a short cycle ride away (but along a main road); the swimming pool is absolutely perfect after a hot sweaty day cycling through the park; dinner was very tasty

We really enjoyed our 2 nights here, the pool was good, the room was nice enough, it took a while for dinner to come out once we ordered it but it was good freshly made food so a little patience may sometimes be required or order early , the staff were all very friendly. Note there are some impressive ruins in the area, things I didn't expect to see outside of Angkor Wat.

Marginal place. Wifi very weak, only available at dining area only I guess.. staff was somewhat helpful but not all the time. Room was worn out but sheets and pillows are clean. Cable tv with limited channels available on the first day but not available for next day morning.

Friendly service. The room was fine. The pool looked nice, but didn't get a chance to use it. The staff was helpful in finding us a motorbike and a safari to come pick us up for a good price.

I can recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a comfortable stay for a reasonable price.
The staff was really friendly and the owner himself looked into all our needs and provided valuable local knowledge regarding the sites to visit .
And to put a note on the food served, all I can say is that it was really worth what we spent and the everthing was delicious and up to our expectations.

Ask for their Kottu if available. I really enjoyed the taste and the veggies seemed really fresh.

Friendly staff. Low price. Very nice value for money. Tasty food. Pool is big and clean. Cheap bike rental. Location is also very nice - if you go to visit the archeological places you can pass through the park, no need to go all way back.

Reasonable price but I do not recommend for food. Staffs are friendly. Had a small dispute in the facilities provided with owner later settled.

Amazing hotel!!! We really enjoyed stay in this place - great pool, pleasant director and his family, cooled Lion beer and renting a bicyles to visit all Pollonaruwa temples! If we could go to this area once again, this would be our first choice!
