A Well managed, proper 3 star hotel overlooking the Kandy City. Good service and food for a reasonable price.

Node clean hotel with very good dinner specially or West tourist! I have room with nice view above valley ! Hotel is away from crazy crowded city noise.Well I must said that rooms are a little bit old, some refreshing is needed!

Long story short: One of the best places to stay and dine while at Kandy.👍
Senani didn't disappoint me even a bit on all other counts except their extremely poor WiFi connectivity. They get all the other checkboxes right. With a pool, a buffet offering wide-ranging choices, clean rooms with ample amenities, and of course, friendly staff, Senani is different from hotels in Colombo which differentiate and discriminate based on ethnicity and nativity.response / report this review -

Old world charm with all the modern facilities,beautiful views, great food and a live band at dinner. Walking distance to the Temple of the Sacred Relic was a plus!

Very comfortable stay here. Our bedroom was large with a balcony (I think all the rooms have them.) and a nice view. Good pool. Clean. The bed was comfortable. The best AC we've had as it was adjustable. Great shower with lots of hot water. Good WIFI. Nice staff. Situated above the city of Kandy but plenty of tuk tuks if you don't want to make the 20 minute climb. Next to the hotel is a batik and a wood shop and small store. Nice things, pricey but negotiable.

It was a nice hotel with a lovely pool and a very good breakfast. The restaurant had a view over the city, which was very nice.
The staff was very friendly, and the room was nice.
During the night time it is possible to hear barking dogs and a little bit traffic from the road.response / report this review -

Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Couldn't have been more sweet, giving me directions to a function I was attending along with a helpful map, ensuring parking in car park and facilitating an early check in.

Located up the hills on a narrow road, parking is a huge problem, the basement parking is a cul-de-sac, we had about 10 cars and had to struggle to get this organized. The lunch was well laid out on the balcony, tasty, hot and reasonable with a great view to the town below. No idea of rooms as we, group of 50 people, did not use them.

The hotel is on different levels built on a steep hillside. The view is OK, but not of Kandy town centre. The place is relaxed and the staff are very helpful.
It has OK wifi, but when 20 guests are all trying to surf the web it can get a little slow.
There's a pool and a lovely restaurant and bar.
The rooms suffer a little from damp but are spacious. Our room was also below the kitchen as it's an upside down hotel,with the rooms at lower levels. Therefore, we could hear clanking through the ceiling at meal times.
Still, even with the downsides I'd recommend it.response / report this review
