  Were there 2 nights in April, place is quite simple. Food was great service was great currently there is no A/C but they have Fans. Clean tidy bathrooms and sleeping rooms. Whole place was really calm highly recommend if u want to get off from the busy crowded life! And they have a mascot Dog called Adam dont forget to pat him 🐕

  Great place for a family outing. Helpful staff. Cabana type rooms for not more than two people. The bathrooms are primitive though. The manager can hook you up with a dolphin watching boat ride. Just ask him for it.

  Wauw such relaxation. Not only for kitesurfers, also for beachlovers and independent travellers looking for likeminded. Really nice food. Kudawa beach is for me better than Tangalla, because the sea is calmer and it is less touristy.

  Take us back! My partner and I loved staying at Sandy Edge. The beach bungalows are really nice, and the outdoor bathrooms are awesome. The food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. We did the dolphin watching tour as well which was great. Highly recommend staying here!

  Our final stop in Sri Lanka. Perfect place to rest and relax after two weeks of backpacking. The owner is kind and attentive and will help solve all of your needs. Around here you can go kitesurfing (30min walk, 7 min scooter), amazing dolphin watching and snorkeling. The beach is nice, but only good for swimming before lunch, before wind starts to blow. Sandy Edge has its own restaurant where you can get smoothies,beers and food, just talk with the owner. Beautiful place, would recommend.
  
  Realise when you book here that this whole area is kind of remote and is still just in it's early stages and the few restaurants that exist have only been open a couple of months. This will be a great destination in a few years but right now there's simply not a lot to explore and do, if you don't kitesurf and snorkel all the time.
