  Soft drinks were sold more than its oruginal prize. Service charge of Rs. 99.00 also added to my bill. Only one women were there to serve us. She was doing all the works. But there was no any other restautents nereby.

  The juice-stall outside the restaurant serves very nice soursop juice w/ice cream, and also has delicious egg samosa. First time visit for me, but would stop again, next time I drive past.
  Service from the lady operating the stall was also friendly and warm.

  Rating this is kinda hard. Their food is good and fine, more like average. If you order a normal plate you are in for a treat. If you order a larger plate, the portion is not that generous. The downside of the place is room facilities. No comfortable pillows or bed sheets. Couldn't lock the bathroom door in the room we were in. For a place like hambantota, the place is not that bad.

  Samern Restaurant is affordable & budget stay . You have a great view of the Hambantota . I have to say the place is okay for the price but you have to note the beds are fairly hard ,
  
  the room is moderately clean but it has AC it sounds creaky in the middle of the night . The TV wasn't working but I not worried about it , wifi isn't available .
  
  The meals are have acceptable but the only the breakfast is free other meals you have to paid . They have a place outside which makes meals for orders . Samern has stiff competition however I can not recommend .
