  This place had just a Sal tree when we were going to school (1982 - 1996) and thanks to the current Loku Mahuduruwo (Venerable Yatirawana Seelananda Thero) in this temple, today this place have everything a temple needs. Also, Salawane Viharava provides Daham education to children in this area.
