We took our friends fr m India and went for dinner !! The food was cold and they took long time to heat again !! we wanted rotti and after making some rotties they said no flour. We asked for curd they said it was finished. Instead of informing that we are coming for dinner the owner was missing and some boys only we're there. It's not suitable place for a group !! The service was not up to the standard !! 😑😑😑😑

This is a new level of excellent food!!! Doesnt matter if it its the veggie curry, prawns or chocolate pancake - its all simply delicious!!
The only negative point is that they aren't offering cooking classes ;)

Great rice and curry. We were there for lunch and dinner and the food was great! Portions are generous and bigger than most places we've been to. Unfortunately the buffet dinner wasnt available due to off season. We ordered chicken curry and rice meal and it was awesome and is enough to feed 4 people 😱.

Read a lot of hype about this place, expected a real gem of a restaurant. It was 'alright', is the fairest assessment I can offer. Curry was nice but not the best I've had in three weeks in the country. Don't expect a chilled out meal though - for some reason the owner pumps loud, bass-heavy tunes out for about 18 hours a day, which detracts from the experience in an otherwise tranquil spot (notwithstanding the roadside location). Prices were pretty high for what we got - I left feeling it was just another curry experience and nothing to write home about. Still, no negatives beyond the music, so try it out if you fancy a curry and rice.

Quite simply the best curry I've ever had. Quite a few others feel the same based upon the reviews written all over the walls too! Had 4 days in Trincomalee half board and ate here 3 times! Go for the Rice'n'Curry served from 6pm and you won't be disappointed!

Small and very friendly. 4/5 for their speed, we had to wait 1,5 hour to get whole ordered menu (and it was not what we ordered), but food is very good, especially their 18:00+ buffet. We tried about 20 different rice and kari through whole Srà Lanka and this one was one of the best

The All you can eat buffet, which starts ever day around 6 PM, is incredible. Very tasty and cheap.

This simple restaurant makes few wonderful, fresh seafood dishes that were hard to beat. Seafood dishes are cheaper in Trinco anyway. Owner is friendly and talks to you to suggest best dishes. No alcohol is a weakness however their SriLankan buffet and friendly service compensates it. Must visit if you are Trinco.

Best place to eat in Trincomalee! Don't waste your time going anywhere else! My only regret is that it took me a day to visit them, and had to taste crappy food of other restaurants and the hotel! Highly recommended!
