We came for dinner on our last night. The setting is wonderful but the service was really poor. We were sat on our own in the dark in the garden with minimal candlelight. It wasn't possible to see the food. From arrival the food took over an hour to arrive. It was very good but it was too long to wait. After waiting for a further hour for our dessert we asked for the bill to leave. Overall we were here for over 2 and a half hours for one course. It was a very disappointing evening given the expense and mandatory service charge.

My husband and I visited the Reef Villa for lunch. We had a tour around the place and loved everything about the the place. As we entered the Reef Villa, we knew that we will definitely will stay over the next time we come to Sri Lanka. The antiques and the way the whole place is decorated and furnished is stunning and breath taking. We have not seen a magnificent, magical place like the Reef Villa before. The owners of Reef Villa, Brendan and Bernadette greeted us with Malith the General Manager when we arrived. Everyone was so friendly and warm. The food was very good and the the waiting staff was very very attentive. If you visit Sri Lanka, please visit the Reef Villa, we recommend it.

Wow, we found this place by an accident but what we experienced was absolutely miracles..lovely concept. Access was the only complain but we found its to do with the locality.
