  Rathmalana Technical College Higher Education Centre. After O/L's or A/L's best place to go for the higher education free of charge. You can go up to NVQ Level 5 and after that you can apply for a Digree Programme. They have full time and part time programs for the students and workers. If your going to do a full time Digree programe they will pay students for attendance. Also they give free bus fair. People should promote this kind of government technical schools because of free education.

  This was called BTTI (Basic Technical Training Institute) and those who were trained were appointed as semi skilled workers in the Ratmalana Railway Workshop.
