  Rajagala Residence (where we spent the night on 13.01.18 on our journey to Meemure) is a colonial bungalow built over 100 yrs ago. This is located just 1 km before Hunnasgiriya town (37 km from kandy) facing hunnasgiriya mountain range and having Rajagala mountain in the background . You get a stunning wiew of the hunnasgiriya mountan with two water falls.
  
  In the bungalow there is a grand piyano specially built for sri lanka by a london company. It is said to be over 100 years old. There are a lot of ancient stuff and photos
  It has 5 rooms ( including ac rooms) and can accomodate about 25 if you go in families .
  The standards and quality are ok ( not 5* though) and managable. If you want to experience a stay in a colonial bungalow this is a fine location.
  You can do one day trip to meemure from here.

  Excellent location. Owner is very helpful and flexible. Very spacious. Food is fine and will arrange bits /snacks on our request at a reasonable cost. Weather is great and not too cold.

  A good play to stay in you holidays. An ancient bangalow built in English colonial era .
