These guys are incredible! Chilled surfers from Sri Lanka, great board rental prices and advice on the local spots from these dudes. You can surf the reef out front or walk 5 mins down the road back towards Ahangama and surf an almost empty deep reef break.

Free shower and king coconut to drink with every board rental! Can't recommend enough. Bus from Mirissa stops just down the road back towards Ahangama!

    Super entspannte Surfschule& Surfboardverleih!
Also keine Massenveranstaltung! Die Jungs machen den Eindruck als würden sie ziemlich was verstehen vom Sport.

RDS surf school is probably the friendliest and best surf school in Sri Lanka! Radjiet (the owner) is one of Sri Lanka’s best surfers and he is competing in the Sri Lanka’s surf mastership. I hade private lessons for improving my technique which took me to the next level of surfing. This is a genuine surf family who is more into surfing as a spiritual thing than trying to make money on tourists. The surf boom in Sri Lanka is massive and it seems as the rest of the beach is full of huzzlers so don’t fall for every hotel that have their own surf school. If you are a beginner start here and it will save you a lot of time in the water later. (If you feel that you want to spend a little more money and think that you are an advance surfer an alternative could be Tim Jones surf school)
