  I hated dentists until we moved to Kandy when I got selected to Faculty of Engineering, UoP. Dr. Prassad Amarathunga was the dean Faculty of Dental Science but I still was scared. How ever I left happy and ever since I have relied on their expertise for all my dental needs. Some times I wonder if some dentists in SL are fake.
  
  I have done simple fillings, root cancel fillings, dental implants, complex extractions & surgeries.
  
  It is hard to get Dr. Prassad these days and I think he does only implants and surgeries. Since a few years I have been relying on Dr. Aruna Wimalarathne. He is a great chap and if I understood the nurses right is Dr. Prassads son in law. I guess close enough :D. I am having an implant and a root canal in progress.
  
  I come from Colombo spending 8 - 10 hours in the road per visit because I appreciate their quality service.

  Had a chipped tooth capped in December, the cap came off in pieces that same evening. Went back to get it redone but same result, the whole capped piece came off the same day. This is after not biting anything on the side of the capped tooth. Wish I could say this was a one off but 9 years ago I had a tooth capped 3 times within a few months because it kept breaking off , this was done by Dr. Prasad. I finally got it done in colombo and it's lasted to date. This time as well money wasted.

  I was in Kandy on holiday when a filling in one of my teeth done fell off suddenly. I panicked and searched for a dentist near me and found this place online. Called them and asked if I could walk in without a prior appointment and the lady on the other end noticed that I was very concerned and asked me to come and that they will do what was required. I went and was seen immediately by a kind and very caring dentist who took time to explain to me what I should do next. I really was very pleasantly surprised at the ability to walk in and be seen, the level of care and information provided and most importantly the fact that the dentist treated me like a person and not a number as some doctors do in other private hospitals in Sri Lanka. He took time and let me explain what happened taking the full history of my dental situation (this took some time) without rushing me and then explained in clear language the options and what to do next. Proper professional attention and treatment like a person not a nuisance or a cash cow (which sadly is how I have experienced dentists everywhere else). I checked out the place online afterwards and found that it is run by a highly qualified dentist professor. I think maybe it was that quality that I saw from the staff at this place on that day. Sadly I don't live anywhere near this place or this will be the first choice for me and my family. 100% recommend to anyone.

  Treatments are really great. Experinaced proffessional Doctors. I would recommend to anyone who likes to get treatments from a simple to advance surgery.

  So far one of the best in Kandy. I've done a root filling and some other dental treatments.
  Very proffesional. very clean enviroment. Top class service.
