Be discreet and observe the beauty of mother nature. The roads are quite small so drive carefully and at moderate speeds.

Pitawala pathana is a unique grass land situated in the Knuckles conservation forest. It could be clearly seen from a distance as slanted bold patch among the mountain tops in the area. It very famous because of the mini world's end which is a deep escarpment it hosts at the edge of the grass land. The world's end offers a panoramic view of the Knuckles range. You need to purchase tickets in order to enter the Pitawala Pathana. Parking is available near the ticket counter and they also offer washroom facilities.

It’s a very nice place to visit with some amazing views depending on the weather. Better to go on sunny day to get best view. Colors of the sky and surrounding changes rapidly due to the wind in evening

Pitawala is a unique grassland found in Knuckles Conservation Forest in Sri Lanka. This is really an eye catching and breath taking spot. You can see the Knuckles Mountain ranges stretching so high and so wide.
