Very good resort..suitablefor family trips, personal trips..nice environmental views and Malayadi lake is the main beauty..also you can get boat trip in the lake which can be arranged by the resort it self..they provid native food also

Stunning paradise off the beaten track. Hosts are so welcoming and willing to help you and make you feel at home. We went on a boat trip around the lake and had a barbecue in the evening. The food for the duration of our stay was absolutely delicious.

This is by far one the most or rather the Best naturally beautified destinations i have ever experienced and without a doubt anybody could agree at one glance at it! This far off destination is a must to experience mainly due to its unique nature-bound location, freely roam able environment which definitely gives you a peace of mind for sure! Amazing food, one of a kind ambiance and the best hospitality offered by the pinkfox crew! A great place to be with great friends!! Finally travel awesome experience.

It's not an Eco-resort by any means. It the equivalent of .staying in a semi-urbanized villager's home. It's cheap, but you can get the same facilities and food for free in the Drivers' quarters of many hotels.
Having said that, the location on the bank of the Malayaddi lake is picturesque, but not inviting or conducive for bathing or even a single dip. The staff are very obliging and prepared to row you right round the lake without any expectation of a tip. They also light up the garden at night with fire torches and a bonfire although its too hot and isn't cold enough to sit around it. Therefore it only serves to pollutes the environment.
It comes with power failures, taps running dry, servant quality' toilets, hard mattresses, tiny rooms, small beds, noisy fans, very basic food and everything else that goes with a poor villager's home.
The hotel is extremely hard to find. The road is treacherous and even locals need an escort from the hotel to navigate the unmarked route all the way from the village, both when coming in and gong out.
The property is large but it's like a villager's garden and not like a natural habitat. The walks outside the property too aren't natural. They are on roads that run along the man made embankment of the lake and the outlet canal and motor cycles race on them at all hours making it rather dangerous. No animals except monkeys. Weve been into pink fox last month and it was a superb place to stay! We went all around in the lake and we hike one mountain and the staff is super friendly.. I do recommend this place!

Such an awesome place for a day out in Hingurana in Sri Lanka. Cooking facilities is there. You can have a bath in the river.
