Fish was fresh but undercooked, and supposedly fresh juice wasn't fresh, just some poor quality juice from concentrate. It was also outrageously expensive for what you get. We shared our reservations with the waiter, got 7% discount, still making it the most expensive meal we had in Sri Lanka. Avoid.

Worst place we ever go in Sri Lanka! After we sat on the chair, one guy came and asked us to pay 1000 rupee for a chair or have diner there in a very aggressive way. We did not agree with that and paid only 100 rupee. Luckily there were three of us, we could just walk away. On the way back there was a girl asking us to drink coconut, and we paid 300 for two coconuts (normally 70 or 80 per pice). This whole beach and the way going down there are full of traps!

Looks romantic, but dissappointing
We ordered rockfish. It was fresh and looked good, but unfortunately the taste wasn’t so good, a hint of something chemical. When we told one of the waiter, he made fun of us.
The beach in dark ambiance looked really nice, but the fires where made with petroleum or gasoline, so while eating we were sitting in the gasfumes.response / report this review -

Was directed to a sun bed and told it was free if we dined at the restaurant. Had a few drinks over an hour or so. As we left we were stopped and told to pay for the beds. I told them we had bought drinks at the restaurant. He said no you only buy drinks it's 1000 for the bed now. I politely told him to get a little bit real and he began to argue. Another fellow came then and I said im not paying I'll give 500. Still he said no and wouldn't let us leave. We argued and it was only going to escalate as they blocked us from leaving. Ended up giving the money and leaving with a very sour taste in my mouth. These guys are crooks make sure they tell you clearly what they expect or you'll get caught in their trap.

Worst place and service in 3 weeks Sri Lanka! Asked for a mixed vegetables sandwich, they said it's with fries. It's not. Misunderstandings can happen, that's NOT why I rate it so bad. For 550lkr, the mixed vegetable sandwich was maybe 1 tomato - that's it. I told the guys it's way too expensive for that and not good at all, still billed the whole price. Also, the milk for the coffee was somehow disgustung, also first time on the trip that we didn't drink it. Still paid, nobody cared Give your hard earned money to one of the other places to get some value for it.
