The place is very nice, full of different trees and plants, lovely chill area above the pool and tasty breakfast every morning. But the most important and big plus was - staff! Guys thank you very much for your attention and care! It was just great to have you around! 🙏
Rooms are clean, very comfortable mosquito net, hot water, big bathroom itself, private balcony (we stayed in the house near the pool).response / report this review -

It is very beautiful and calm place. Average size swimming pool and Woody made dining place and relaxing place. Sea view from swimming pool. You can have bath in both places. Cabanas type of cottages are built over the fence. Staff are friendly. Accommodation is reasonable price but food and beverage are considerably high price. Liquor is not available

We were there for 2 nights as a group of 31 pax. Staff was really helpful and friendly and did their best to serve us. But the reservations are handled from colombo and they seems to have little knowledge about the real hotel set up. As we are a kind of a big group we went their in a big bus and knowing that we got it confirmed that we can take the bus to the hotel, before making the booking. But it was not the case and we had to waste some time trying to take the bus in, after a hectic journey of more than 300 Km from Colombo. Finally hotel sent their cab to take us to the hotel. And the rooms were too basic and wished if they had some more facilities.

Absolutely lovely place. Located in a very beautiful beautiful view of the sea and the beach is awesome. Less crowded and you can spend a quality relaxed time there at papermoon. The cottages(kudils as they say) are good. Air conditioned and spacious. The service from the staff is extremely good. There are some cons too. The road to get into the place is poor. Cannot get there in a bus. but they provided a safari vehicle from the bus to the papermoon. Food is good too.

Very peaceful and calm location. Accommodation is of excellent standard tho it may appear to be somewhat towards being rustic. The staff are the biggest plus point. Excellent food as well. Loved the surroundings.

Really good getaway location from Colombo for a weekend surf. Located at whiskey point, a very nice place for surfing. Only limited sure boards are available for renting at the hotel. And not all the rooms are in close vicinity to the pool and restaurant. The food is decently priced and the menu is extravagant. Room service is not available however. So it can be really tiring if you need to go to the restaurant and pool multiple times a day. In the morning however, bed tea is delivered. In terms of location, it's a bit of a drive in to the coast from the main road and quite a bit far away from Arugam Bay itself. Nevertheless the beach as Whiskey Point is one of the best surf locations.

Wonderful getaway. Right on the beach of whisky point. Away from the buzz of arugam bay but very close to it. Keep in mind that there are no restaurants or shops around so you'll be left only with restaurant of the hotel for your meals.Access road is bit confusing and need some heavy work done on it. Rooms (kudils)were spacious and comfy.with a cozy large bed, but no TV or mini fridge nor any tea coffee making facilities.which was a bit of a let down. bathroom was clean and spacious too .it has a tiny pool which they call the water hole (actually it is. With No deep end, just 4 to 3 1/2 feet deep all along)but will come handy after having a dip in the sea.the food menu wasn't too big but has some wonderful dishes. Fairly priced and timings from ordering to serving are good too .breakfast was Al a carte and had a good choice with a fruit juice and a plate of fruits along with it. Staff were friendly, relaxed and efficient. I'll recommend this place for anyone who wants a relaxing break, away from the buzz of a town.it was a good experience and I'd return there if I was ever gonna visit arugambay again.

Nice location, nice compound, however the resort's restaurant is an improvement area: waited for over an hour for the order to then receive a very overcooked tuna steak.

Out in the sticks at Komari. Bare vegetation is the main hindrance. However ultra dynamic ownership controlling major pinted media are in the forefront to promote this as well as other owned places such as Rocco Hotel in Arugam Bay. The Paper Moon Kuddles itself is well run. But so far pretty isolated in its remote location.
