Pannila Sri Shilabimbarama Purana Viharaya is situated at the heart of Pannila Villege. This temple over 200 years old. This temple consists of a Vihara Mandira, Secret Boo Tree, Uman Vihara, Dharma Shala, Stupa, Dhathu Mandira, Seema Malakaya, Sangawasa and Granite Buddha Statue. Because of this Granite Buddha Statue this temple known as Shilabimbarama Temple. This is a very beautiful and ancient Buddhist temple of Kaluthara District. When visiting this temple you can see Buddhist frescos, statues and many Buddhist constructions throughout the temple.
This Buddhist temple is situatrd near the Aluthgama - Ittapana Road, about 20 Km from the Authgama Town and 2 Km ahead from Lewwanduwa Juction.response / report this review -

This Buddhist temple is situatrd on Aluthgama - Ittapana Road, about 20 Km. from the Authgama Town and 2 Km ahead from Lewwanduwa Juction.
