Ideally situated close to Madhu Church. Its basic hotel with tasty meals good staff. Forget the luxuries after all if your visiting the church one needs to make a small sacrifice

Recommend this place. The Staff is so friendly and the food was good. The rooms and wash rooms are well maintained. Thank you to Kasun and the Rest Of the staff we enjoyed our stay and looking forward to come back.

One and only place to stay near the entrance of Madu church road (11Km to church). I stayed non-AC room (29/12/2017), room for 4 persons, it's not more comfortable compare to other resorts or guest houses (Looks under construction), but I recommend this place if you want to sleep near Madu. People come for Madu church to pray and sacrifice, not for enjoying.

We arrived to a wonderful and hospitable manager and a care taker the rooms were good and the staff accommodated us on all requirements . Great place . Food served is Sri Lankan style but very nice

Friendly and courteous staff. Don't let the exterior appearance discourage you. Rooms are well maintained and washrooms are clean. Not a wide variety of choice of food but what is available is done well. Rates are reasonable considering that this is the only facility available in close proximity to the Madhu shrine.

The place wasn't bad, just met the need. The so called manager is the problem there.
The place meant to be a non alcoholic rest house, but the idiot manager was having alcohol with some other blokes in the dining area.
The rooms had two double beds, but the idiot manager only gave two single sheets and the other room even didn't get a single sheet.
Because of the mosquitoes we wanted to take the food in to the room and feed the little kids, but this idiot big headed manager said 'no'.
If the owners ever read this post, please do your business a favour and get rid of the idiot manager.response / report this review -

Good for pilgrims on the way to madhu church. A more hostel type establishment. Clean rooms and bathrooms. No luxury. Just enough comfort as a halfway house.
