Thank you One and Only Travels for organising a wonderful and very memorable trip! (6 April - 14 April 2018) .
The itinerary was AMAZING and just what me and mother wanted. We LOVED every minute.
what I really liked the fast reply from Mr. Himantha in Sales and Marketing (srilankatours) one and only the Booking process was so fast and no delays , Mr Himantha and his team were so helpful and knowledgeable as I had issue with Issuing ETA and he helped me with some suggested solutions. The hotels were beautiful and all was as described.
Our Tour guide Sanath was so enthusiastic , knowledgeable and very helpful and kind Person.
Really Excellent Service ..
I really wanted to thank SrilankaTours Team Mr Himantha and his Team for the special Gift I received from them . Thank You it means a lot ..

Me and my family traveled to Srilanka in March 2018 and enjoyed our vacations. All our bookings and travel plans were made by One and Only travels and everything was perfect. The tour guide Sampath is very knowledgeable and passionate about his country and guided us very well. All arrangements from airport pick up till we were dropped back was perfect. We covered all major tourist spots. Wild life safari at Yalla National Park was fantastic. Thanks One and Only Travels for all your efforts with our trip. I would definitely recommend friends and family to travel with them. Their cost was very reasonable as well.

I opted for a tour for safety as a single female; One & Only Travels' travel agent, Himantha and tour guide, Tennakoon (aka Tenna) were ultimately the only things about my time in Sri Lanka that made me feel unsafe.
Guide:
- Not at the airport when I arrived (on time)
- Did not know itinerary for 7 day trip, frequently got lost and would not communicate what was going on
- Lied about traffic to cover up his desire to leave later in the morning
- Insisted he had to keep me safe, but at the first site we got to, he said, "Ok, you go in. I'm going to stay here".
~ He claimed it was because his car was not safe in the parking lot. When I asked him, how will I know the history or what to look for, he said, "Because I will tell you later". When I explained that Himantha had specifically told me that the guide would be with me at all times (I asked before booking), he caved and went inside
~ The next day at Sigiriya he also wanted to stay in the parking lot. His reason was he "just didn't like crowds". When I asked him for any history or facts while we waited in the 3 hour line, he shushed me and said "Not now". I later found out that he lied to cover up that he was not licensed to give tours at Sigiriya and did not know anything about it. The only things he could tell me were "COME HERE! This is a pond." (The map at the entrance says that.) Or "This is….you can read the sign". Also, in the midst of the 3 hour line (and packed staircase of people), he shouted from many feet away that he was going to leave because he wanted to get rest
- Manipulated itinerary to fit his needs and ignored my requests. i.e, going to a bakery he wanted to eat at instead of the temple in the daylight, visiting his family (me in tow) instead of driving to the next city so I could get any rest before the 1am climb up Adam's Peak for the sunrise, skipping the tea factory tour (only planned activity for the day) so he could arrive early to do laundry
- Took me to a secluded, dark area of the beach on the first night
- In a fit of anger, told me the flower necklace he put on me without explanation at the airport (and then instructed someone to photograph us together in the first 10 seconds of me identifying him), was not something he normally does
- Sent me pictures of himself during the nights with weird messages like "everything I do, I do it for you"
- Get possessive any time I spoke to other tourists, stand closer and instruct me that we had to leave
- Told hotel manager he would stay with me in my room and then told me like it was a joke, gauging for permission
- Was so aggressive that other tourists were asking me "Are you going to be ok?" repeatedly
- Threaten to leave me in a random city
- Stalked me at my hotel after I ended the tour with him, to the point where I had to inform the hotel staff and hid in the dining room
- Continued to message and email me for weeks after
Agency:
- Did not communicate latest plan and I was caught off guard when I arrived at the airport and it had changed
- Did not arrange for licensed tour guide at Sigiriya when he knew that Tenna was unlicensed (and did not share that information up front)
- Did not have experience with local guides when separate guides were needed (i.e. 7 hr Adam's Peak climb, 4 hr Udawalawe safari), putting me on edge as they explained they weren't sure if I would be ok
- Made excuses for Tenna when I raised concerns the first day
- Stated it was his busy season and he did not want to hear any problems from me
- Did not follow up to see how the tour was going, despite knowing there were issues in the beginning
- Did not take my safety seriously and repeatedly brought up the impositions he felt, instead of being concerned about safety (and by safety, he was only concerned with sexual abuse)
- Did not take safety of future customers seriously; he sent Tenna out on another tour the very next day
- I asked for a partial refund; Himantha refused and finally offered to refund $70 - a mere 6% of the total price

NO Doubt this is one of the best places I have been to for a short getaway !
Everything was perfect, starting from the airport pick up till almost getting back to India ! Everything was on spot..
Our Guide, Roshan was also amazing, his knowledge for birds, nature, people, food everything about sri lanka was just so good . Thanks to him I never knew I could climb 2 mountains ! his dedication to his work and motivation to me to do everything is well appreciated !
Very friendly and very polite - will surely recommend One And Only to my friends and family if they wish to visit.
And thank you Himantha and team for such an amazing service in such a short notice!

One & Only Travels provide an extremely good service and at reasonable rates we had the best time and managed to see so much without feeling rushed or too tired. We could go at our own pace and had the flexibility to adapt out itinery to suit us. Our guide and driver Lalith is an asset to the company and it was a pleasure to share our experiences with him his knowledge and professionalism is outstanding. 100% recommend this tour

All questions were answered very quickly Above all, our driver, Mr Madawa made our whole trip. He was so helpful, thoughtful and enthusiastic and we enjoyed every minute.

A pleasure to deal with and made the job of organising our tour very simple. The tour itself was fantastic. Everything we wanted out of our trip. Our guide Roshan was awesome. Always thinking of us and what we might need. A very very knowledgeable person with a great love for the history, culture, wildlife and food of Sri Lanka. Brilliant holiday. Many many thanks.

Incredibly lucky to have had Roshan Indika Batukandage show us around the beautiful Sri Lanka for 8 days. He could not have been better and was honestly the most patient, thoughtful guide I have ever had. He took time to find out what we're interested in and tailored our itinerary to ensure we had the best time! Every day was so varied and included so much! I will be recommending the tour without hesitation to family and friends and hope that some day I will be back. Thanks : )

My mother and I booked a 7 day private tour with One and Only Travels for her birthday, and it was one of the best trips of our lives. We were in Sri Lanka from May 27 to June 2nd, and throughout this time we had an extensive itinerary that included visiting:
- Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
- Sigirya Rock (UNESCO)
- Elephant Safari
- Dambulla Cave Temple
- Temple of Tooth Relic
- Kandy Culture Show
- Peradeniya Botanic Garden
- Nuwara Elia tea factory, tea field
- Ramboda Falls
- Gregory Lake and Victoria Park in Nuwara Eliya
- Colombo city tour
- Negombo tour.
Everything in the itinerary was included in the original price, with the exception for 2 extras (cultural show and safari) which were expensive.
In addition we were given a complimentary village tour and a boat ride in the river - which was amazing!
The hotels we stayed in were local Sri Lankan hotels, mostly 4-5 stars, and the rooms were great: spacious, comfortable and clean.
The package also included breakfast and dinner at the hotels, which was very convenient (and delicious) so my mother and I ate luxury bf and dinner buffets for the whole duration of the trip!
We were also transported in a comfortable air-conditioned car, and our driver Mr Lalith played a great role as a companion and occasional tour guide.
On the whole I would say that the package was great value for money, and this is a company I would definitely recommend.
