It’s available on Saturdays and sundays only.Can buy vegetables for less prices .you have to struggle a lot when walking through the market . But it’s worth for shopping cause you can get more item on less prices not only vegetables good cloths,shoes at sometimes they bring to sell from Colombo . Toys ,2 nd hand electronic items,sarees,fish market etc etc.

This place is lots of fun if you like fresh produce! There are vendors selling a wide variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. A few clothing vendors are setup on the road near the entrance as you work your way toward the main area inside. You can barter here to save a few Rupees per transaction. Some folks selling plastics and aluminum goods such as containers, utensils, etc. It was very crowded even on the rainy Sunday that we went. Frequent umbrella collisions, but people are polite. Sanitary conditions could be better, so make sure you thoroughly wash your produce before consuming.
