The experience at the location was very dissatisfieing, tipical local government institute service, bra is brought a very low level handling coustomer,
My expectations of government institute service at very low level and this location is no expecting, unfriendly, the staff don't have a clue of customers service.
I was disappointed how they handle, international speed post.

Very bad service and very lazy people specially in the Nugegoda branch. My mother has sent me a box of important documents and stuff to me and she has posted it on February 2021 and still I didn’t receive it. When I inquire about it, every time they just take the details and doesn’t bother to follow it up. My parents have spend a lot of money to send me that box. So why these people waste our money and apparently the box is missing(though we got a tracking number).

They provides good service
Register post letters receive 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Saturday.
But if you have bulk register post letters please submit before 2.30pm
If you go after 1.00pm there is no crowd

One of the worst government offices at Nugegoda. Even though they are open till 7 PM, most of the services are not offered after 4 PM. Even if you visit during the office hours only couple of staff members are there to serve the customers so there is a long queue always. Most of the time staff is at the back office relaxing them self's. Very rude staff available. The main reason this is open until 7 PM is then these buggers can get the overtime payment. Specially this post office is well known for missing parcels.

Crowded office. Some spacious place. This is a main post office. Postal code is 10250
You can pay most of your utility bills and transactions at this point, Like electricity bills, ceylinco life insurance premiums , sri lanka telecom bills, National savings bank transactions , tele mail , money orders etc. They collect the vehicle fines, exam fees.
Staff are helpful. Open on Weekdays and Saturday till noon.
Parking is the problem

Local post office. The service is fine and the people were helpful on the several occasions I went there. Can get really crowded around noon. If you want to get something done quickly, go here in the mornings.
