Been cltheir customer for more than twenty years. They have a wide range of fish, pumps, filters and other aquarium equipment. Could be cleaner and bit more professional but comparable to many other aquariums in Sri Lanka except here you have a wider choice in everything including more exotic fish even though prices on average are more than almost all other places.

Best place in Colombo to see a large collection of pet fish.
Mainly fresh water pet fish available for ponds and fish tanks
Amazing place for a fantastic array of fish. People are helpful and all ears for your requirements.
Few rare fish available too.
But no parking available and need to park your vehicle near by the road.
Could be little organized though large collection of fish.
Limited walking space.

Some fish are overpriced and their quality of service is bad. The prices they quote depends on who is selling the fish to you. Once, a guy in the shop offered to sell a pair of earth eaters for 1500. The next day when I went the owner of the place asked for 3500 for the same fish. It’s not a one off incident. It has happened to me and my father so many times and now I don’t even sight this place. I’m in this hobby since I was 5. I’ve been to a lot of aquariums and these fellows don’t seem to know much about the fish they sell. So much potential but all wasted because of their greed for money and poor customer service.

Be careful they are trying to fool you and sell fake fish, look a likes. Example when i asled fot Siamese algae eaters i was shown some other fish, a albino colour like one. Luckily i knew how to identify the fake and real. With a quick google search found out that it was chinese algae eaters which later hang on to fish's body. When I explain, they refused it and said it is Golden Algae Eaters and they are not chinese ones. My ass. Note: Mr. Ananda was also involved in this

I've been doing lot of purchasing from these guys.
Pro's - Large variety of fish and aquarium supplies. Could be the largest in SL in terms of variety offered. Pricing is competitive. Bargain to get the best price. Credit cards accepted.

Cons - Not very customer friendly. One or two good guys. Don't expect them to take time and help you with purchase decisions. They don't have much expertise so research what you want before going.Beware if you plan to buy imported fish food. Most are very old (No exp date on most fish food), So look for the quality of the containers or ask them for a new batch. same goes for fish med. No issue with fast moving food like imported Koi food. Warranty that they give arn't that reliable so ensure to get it clearly written on the receipt.

Large variety of fish, from gold fish to arowana and other exotics. Various types of fish food as well for each and every fish. But not very appealing due to bad arrangement in the shop, certain staff are friendly but others aren't. Requires more parking and more organizing.

Shop is kind of shady. When I asked for the prices of stuff, I've been quoted differently by different staffs. Customer service is really bad. I was stranded without any staff assisting me. Finally I had to ask for help from a guy. I had to agree they've got wide range of aquarium goods. Unmatched by any of the stores I've been in Sri Lanka.
