Do you see the 10-star ratings on Booking? Those are for the family bungalow cottage at 5,000, and not the tiny room with no A/C and no window screen, and no privacy. . (We will hear you xxxxing brother.) Get to Sigiriya early, look at a few accommodation places and decide, drop off your laundry at the laundry, avoid the H.L., go to Pidurangula Royal Cave Temple at 3 or 4pm and then buy your tickets for Sigiriya Lion Rock at 6:59am the next morning. before the millions of Chinese tourists on buses.bring some flashlightsand remember that Dambulla has your closest functional ATM, so bring lots of cash. They dont let local people to go in. I had a booking whit them , when i arrive they did not let my cousin which is from sri lanka to stay at the lodge. There is only one reson for happen that , and is because they know that foring people spend much money because they dont know the prices of sri lanka . realy disapponted
