Got potential but not fully realised staff not quite as attentive as should be required and ammentities a little sparring. Room not serviced during day out at park. Barbecue meals were very good and tasty even provided a British style sausage and bread and butter pudding and best custard I tasted in long while. If wasn't for the tired nature of the establishment it would score higher for food

This was a Fantastically built place for Accommodation or day outs in Udawalawa.

They have ample parking, swimming pool and a very natural environment.

However the food was not really to the standard. May be it was because it was the day out package. But however, the quality of food was not up to the standards

Nice place, clean rooms in comfortable condition. Good food, but not much variety. restaurant is full with flies😠. Friendly staff. The hotel could arrange a safari easily.

New place, calm and quite.
But this is an average place with minimum facilities. No breakfast (buffet) lunch and even dinner. No communication on this. When you are with kids leads to many issues. Staff is not trained. Almost like a tuck shop service.

Lovely tree surrounded hotel, with individual building set in the lawn covered grounds. The restaurant in open air, with a touch of a colonial feel. Quite high quality, and a restful place to stay after visiting the Udawalawe National Park

The hotel areal is nice and the entrance and restaurant make a well-kept impression.The pool and water quality seemed to be really questionable.the water was very cloudy and apparently not changed since a while. The rooms (we had 101) reminded us a bit of a prison.brick walls, not very charming. We had many ants in our room and the furniture was quite dusty. The food was extremly disappointing. The buffet only had one curry and apart from that "wanna be" Western dishes, that were below average. I wish they would have served more Sri lankamn dishes. At breakfast, the remainders from dinner were presented again, which did not make the best impression. Staff was very, very friendly and helpful.

The place and the surroundings were very nice. The hotel and the food was way to expensive. Of you want to go on a safari arrange ot your self, it is much easier, and you wont be over charged by the hotel.

Rooms, pool and the resorts area is in general is lovely. But there are no other places to eat nearby, so they will charge you 3 times for what the food should cost and it's a really crappy buffet. Gave us wrong info about our further bustravels and tried to overcharge a few chocolates from the minibar. Could be a great place.
