Its amzing place. Very nice and calm silance place for meditation.its very old place built by nandimithra giant .there are lot of animals such as dear,bear,peacock,wild bow and many more guathering around this monastery.there are 7..8 ..caves situated here.you need to keep noble silance here becauce buddhist monks are practice meditation .

This is an aranya senasana of the therawadha budhism. Located far inside from horowpothana. The area called "diyathiththa wewa" little away after passing parangiwaadiya. The aranya senasana has meditation cottages around 7 where budhist monks come and practice meditation alone.

The importance of this place comes with the stone cage where Nandimithra Yodhaya ( One of the ten giants of King dutugamunu's army) resides is also in the place in ancient era.
