Nice place in a very hot and heat soon. Mullaithevu is a very dry and hot place this is one place to get a relax a enjoy the nature. Very deep sea. You can't swim it's dengers. But it's nice to watch and enjoy the fresh air. In the day time it's looking good in the early morning only. After 10 o clock it's very very hot it's give a bad look at the time. In the evening again you can enjoy the beach.

Very good place for relaxations, family time spending.
Mullaitivu is a small village situated on the northeastern coast of Sri Lanka. This fishing settlement has long acted as an anchoring harbour for goods being transported between Colombo and Jaffna.
The war also affected a lot here, another blow for Mullaitivu was in the 2004 tsunami which devastated much of Sri Lanka and took many lives in Mullaitivu.
Fortunately, the future of Mullaitivu is bright as this area is being re-developed and offers superb eco-tourism opportunities. The beaches near Mullaitivu are serene and gorgeous and it is likely only a matter of time before tourism moves back into the area after so many years of conflict.response / report this review -

Peaceful Beach to hang out with family. Fishermans catching fish. If you are lucky can buy fresh fish from them.

Wonderful beach for sightseeing in Northern Province. Lot of benches available to seat and childrens park just opposite. perfect for family destination

Its full of fishermens. And you can sea a set of chairs on beach side. I dont think this area suitable for swimming. Any way its good.

Nice and calm beach in nothern province. There are good tourist hotels and resturants nearby. One of the best resturant is Mulle cafe managed by SL army

Calm beach!
Nice place but really appriciate if tourists can keep clean this place.
Because there are many plastic waste laying around the place.
Otherthan that you can see lots of lovely fishing boats near the area. You can buy newly catched fish for a fair price from them.response / report this review
