This railway station is medium in size and stop express trains. Situated in the Mirigama city, but easy access and next to main bus stand. Lot of space for passengers. Stops most of the express trains to Kandy, Polgahawela, Mahawa, Anuradhapura, Jaffna direction and also express trains to Colombo side.

If you want to get a train , please come to nearest railway station . According to my sugetion, there is no wheel chair acces but if there are possible. Mirigama bus stand is near to railway station.in the railway station ,we can see bus stand. There are canteen , washrooms , inquiring room , ticketing room in the station.

Mirigama railway station is located at the centre of the city. Mostly all the office trains are stopping this station including Kandy, Mahawa, Anuradapura, Mathara trains.

It is easy to move from Bus to Train, because the railway station is held next to the bus stand. But the covered area is not enough for the crowd in the morning.

Nice place to stay for a while. Because it has a waiting area and a shop to buy some snacks. Most of the trains arr stopping here. So practically we can find a train to go anywhere.
