Amazing place to chill out with friends and family. its better if you can go in the evening after the sun set. wave pool is pretty cool. limited food corners available there. you will have to wear a proper swim suite.

I really like this place but nothing much to do and Muslim women can't get in the pool since shawls are not allowed other customers should respect the other religions I came all the. Way from galle to enjoy a relaxing 😎 day but nothing much to do but the maintenance and everything else was good 😊 I'd love ❤️ to visit again kids were bored 😐 by playing the same stuff again and again but all the adaults that came along loved ❤️ The wave 🌊 pool it was magnificent

Mayan water park is an amazing place to spend a day with you family and friends. There are 5 different pools to enjoy. The wave pool is definitely the best. This is Sri Lanka's only themed water park. Bathrooms are clean which is definitely a plus point. Good place to bring friends visiting from abroad too. Food stalls and restaurants are available too. Always a great time at the water park!

This review for two reason might help you to be the 1st among equals
1) i wold love to see water area rules equals to everybody and it has to be a must ( no ethnicity/no religion)
2) one holiday I came all the way from piliyandala and had to go back because of heavy rush, if you implement a online booking system where it shows the rush on that specific day would be really grt.

The best place in srilanka to have lot of fun in water. They have very different kind of water pool with caves and fantasy. It also have other non water fantasy items to look and try for. It covers a large land space with variety of play units. You will definitely enjoy this place.

There are lots of positives. Water area is fun.
Depth is perfect. Artificial waves are fun. Bubble pool is cool. Kids area has fun parts.
Bathing area, changing area, toilets lockers are well maintained.
Restaurant and ample parking
However,
Actual pool area is supervised poorly.
People rush to the pool without taking a 2ash. Some are not wearing swim wear. Some are wearing regular underwear /cloths with swimwear.
So the water is not clean. It was milky and full of particles (sea the pics) . To compensate, they have added a huge load of chlorine which irritates eyes and skin.

Good place for kids as well as for adults to enjoy the leisure time. The water park is very well maintained. There are waves which are artificially created. Lockers can be found inside the changing rooms to protect your valuables. The changing rooms are properly maintained.

They charged rs. 50 for the parking and rs. 100 for the locker other than the ticket price of rs. 1000 which is not fair. Safety of the pool is below average level there is a room for accidents. Other than that well cleaned and managed changing rooms and good concept

Good place to spend the evening with Team or Family. Not much to do except for the round pool with really strong wave which was awesome.

If you are close by, it will be a good option. If you are from far away, all the travel might not be rewarded by the experience.

The Guruge Park has few thrill activities. Try that if you go here. But it was bit rusty and vacant.

Nice place to have fun with a crowd. There is nothing much to do. I personally saw only 2 ground activity interesting and then the water park. In the water park also there is nothing much to do. Put with a lot of people u can have some fun. They have put pictures with nice lights but by the time they turn on the lights they closes the park. I prefer leisure word more than this.

Mayan Water Park gives a super fun to entire family. Children were thrilled with Baby pool and there are number of beautiful water fountains and spills. Wave pool is so unique and going a ride around the large circular wave pool on a large tube (given free) with artificial circulated waves is so much fun. Going inside smoky mysterious water cave is so exciting. Many life guards are around and entertainment with DJ musicians and beautiful dancers made the Water Park more Active. Pool for adults was located on top with beautiful bubble effects. This water park is the most beautiful, most safe and most beautifully lighted and most colourful place one can ever visit.
