  Best place to live in a rural aria. The Bandaranayaka central college( previously Maspanna Mahavidyalaya) is the foundation to education to the villagers. Most of villagers are educated & majority of them government employers. Cultivation is the base income. Lot of young guys were in battle front in 30 years war & lot of them deth in battle front.
