Makara dragon mouth. Gal pya national park. Difficult for low road clearance vehicles. Can have foods and get chill under the trees. Can bath. Really nice place.

The main source for the Senanayake Samudra is the Gal Oya (Gala Oya). It is at Nilgala in the Gal Oya National Park that the river falls into the reservoir. This place is known as "Makara". ( Makara Kata) That name has its origin in the fact that there is a natural tunnel located at this place.

Secluded, beautiful river to swim in. Can walk down to the mouth of the river and see the rest of the park. We came across a heard of elephants!
