Maho junction is a main railway station on qay to trincomalee and jaffna. In this maho junction the railway devided into two sub ways again. One is upto mihinthalale junction and another upto galoya junction. Then again it will devided into another subways. In the Colambo Kotuwa station the train pass the Ragama station, Polgahawela station, Kuruneegala station. This is the station and railway junction. Divided into Jaffna, Talai Mannar , Trincomalee and Batticaloa way. It has separate rest rooms for males and females including toilet and wash rooms. 24 hours opened canteen is available. Trains coming from Trincomalee and Batticaloa will change their engines to the opposite directions and will proceed towards Colombo and will stay nearly 20 minutes for engine shunting.
